LGC and JRB are casting directors based in New Orleans, Louisiana. We specialize in grassroots-style casting for film, television, and commercial projects.
Our process is based on extensive in-person scouting as well as research and outreach to provide the best fit for each role. We connect "real people" to characters based on their shared experience and personality, bringing an authenticity and rawness to the role. In addition we utilize agencies and professional actors to provide a full range of options.
Our collaboration began in 2014 while working on the Department of Motion Pictures feature film "Wendy." We have worked with directors and photographers such as Benh Zeitlin, Garrett Bradley, Alec Soth, and Annabelle Attanasio. Our client list includes: Fox Searchlight, HBO, Coca-Cola, Crown Royal, and Adidas, amongst others. We pride ourselves on an ability to take on projects of any format and budget level.
We consider honesty, integrity, and respect as pillars of our practice. Through our work, we strive to challenge and redefine the accepted standards of beauty in the media, to uplift the voices of the underrepresented, and to find the grace that exists in both the ordinary and the outcast. As queer creatives, we also aim to support projects that center queer narratives and encourage representation across the spectrum of gender and sexual identity.
